Terms and Conditions

1. About the service
University Logger ("University Logger," "we," "us," or "our") provides an online tool that helps students and their families organize the college and university application process — including tracking schools, deadlines, essay prompts, requirements, and related tasks (the "Service"). The Service is provided from within the United States and is intended for a general audience.
2. Not affiliated with any institution
University Logger is an independent organizational tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any college, university, service academy, testing organization, scholarship provider, or government agency. All names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
3. No guarantee of accuracy — dates and requirements may change
Application dates, deadlines, essay prompts, admission requirements, fees, statistics, scholarship details, and all other information presented in the Service are compiled from publicly available sources and are provided for general informational and organizational purposes only. Such information:
- may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate;
- may change at any time without notice; and
- is not warranted to be accurate, current, or complete.
University Logger does not guarantee any date, deadline, requirement, or other piece of information displayed in the Service.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing
The Service may be offered on a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Where a subscription applies, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge the applicable recurring fee to your payment method until you cancel. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing or features on a prospective basis with reasonable notice.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (d) copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content except as expressly permitted; or (e) submit content that is false, misleading, infringing, or abusive. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. User-submitted content
You retain ownership of information you enter into the Service. By submitting content (for example, a review), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the right to submit it.
8. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites and rely on third-party services (such as payment processing, email delivery, and mapping). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party sites and services is subject to their terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL INFORMATION IT CONTAINS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information will be accurate or complete.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNIVERSITY LOGGER AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF ADMISSION, SCHOLARSHIP, OPPORTUNITY, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE OR ANY MISSED DEADLINE OR INACCURATE INFORMATION — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless University Logger and its owners and operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of a third party.
12. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@universitylogger.com.
